A century of grip.
Yokohama Rubber began in 1917 as a joint venture between Yokohama Cable Manufacturing and America's BFGoodrich — a bid to bring world-class tire making to Japan. It produced the country's first cord tire in 1921 and pioneered its radial technology.
Today it stands among Japan's big four tire makers, supplying original equipment worldwide and competing at the top of motorsport.
